pete Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 *Looks at tumbleweeds in sub-forum - decides to chance it and post anyway* We're seeing connectivity drops on a regular (not-quite-daily) basis at two of our sites in Lincolnshire. Both are affected at the same time. We raised a previous ticket and the finger was pointed at BT kit past the local exchange, but it's still an issue. Is anyone else seeing similar drops?
robk Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 Not seeing anything like that, at least not that I know of. Are Kcom on the case or have the closed it with we blame BT?
pete Posted April 23, 2020 Author Posted April 23, 2020 Cheers Preliminary investigation reveals connectivity drops between the switch in the local exchange and devices beyond that. They're still investigating why that is.
rf_empsn Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 (edited) Hi Pete, have you tried contacting emPSN to escalate? We're still operating business as usual and supporting our schools. The team would be happy to look into this for you. Please email [email protected] for support. Thanks, Rebecca Edited April 24, 2020 by rf_empsn

Unfortunately (as @robk alludes to), the KCOM helldesk are limited by the information they can coax out of BT, so we (and they) are never quite whether the problem has actually been investigated or if BT have simply rebooted something in the hope it might fix it.
