TEAMS APP Issue

I'm currently struggling with Microsoft and their support!

 

My phone was working fine on Teams, signing in without any issues.

 

I got signed out and now when i try to sign in on my phone i get:

 

"You need to be invited to teams as a guest to use the app with a microsoft account'

 

After i enter my email address and sign in, i don't get prompted for my password, i just get the error message.

 

I can sign into the desktop app without any issues, and I can sign into other tenancy's on the APP on my phone, just not the main one i use all the time.

 

Can anyone help please?

Sounds like it maybe trying to sign you in with a microsoft account rather than a "work or school" account (if you've had your account a while, it's possible the email address is linked to two accounts as some services you couldn't use a "work or school" account on).

 

Sounds basic but have you tried clearing the app's data / reinstalling it to start again?
