6Foot2 Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Link: Lord Bath of Longleat dies from coronavirus, aged 87 [The Telegraph]
elsiegee40 Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 He was a character and a half. They don’t make ‘em like that any more:(
DalekSec Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 I grew up in Warminster (town next to Longleat) always heard storys and myths about him, he will be missed
Mr.Ben Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 If any of you have been to Longleat recently, near the entrance to the house/park is a Coffee Shop/Restaurant. Until the early 2000's this was Lord Bath's night club (Oscars). Many a good night was spent there by me and my friends, helped by the 'relaxed' age policy and buses running from local towns. He will be missed!
AJWhite1970 Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 The Loins of Longleat, wonderful character and will be missed. Interesting to see who takes over running the Estate.
