Got a call from school that Google Meet is no longer working on SBB \ Netsweeper from school devices to external

 

It's working on an unfiltered range as I've just tested it, checked traffic nothing blocked

 

Anyone else having issues ? staff have said this was working before

Just spotted the case in our CRM and asked an engineer to pick it up, expect a call shortly. Any problems just drop me a PM.

No worries, glad it was a quick fix. For reference in case it is useful to anyone else the firewall ports are 19302 – 19309 TCP/UDP Edited April 1, 2020 by RobMason

Hi,

 

We are looking to resolve a similar issue with Google Meet.

 

We have these ports set up on local Firewalls in Windows 10. But we encounter the same issue as described.

 

We use Glow, sign into Google Classroom, can create a Google Meet meeting. But if anyone tries to join, no camera or audio and then disconnects after 30 seconds or so.

 

Either of you using Smoothwall, Proxies etc that you had to add anything to? We have done all the suggested on Googles Meet network suggestions.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Same issue as @Fraserb82 here.

I'm guessing Google Meet doesn't like being proxied? Does anyone have a list of url's that can be bypassed on Censornet USS Gateway proxy?
