[GCDS] prevent specific users from sync

We have a shared 6th form with another school and we use GCDS to sync our AD up to GSuite. It has come to my attention that the users from the other school who have a login on our AD are listed under our GSuite OU with our ourschool.domain.uk email address however in GCDS we have an exclusion rule set so that:

 

ADDRESS | Regex | .*([0-9]{2}).*(@otherschool.domain.uk)

 

I would have hoped that anyone with the email address of [email protected] would be excluded? This doesn't seem to be the case.

 

Is there a way to modify this rule if possible:

 

(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(mail=*))

 

so it reads

 

(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)([email protected]))

Update - nevermind, worked it out.

 

(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(mail=*@ourschool.domain.uk))
