[sims] Report to give parent emails by subject class?

Hi

 

I'm trying to design a report that will allow teachers to run off a list that gives them the email contacts for their teaching groups. Every report I've run so far will give the student, email and thena long list of teaching groups so that when you apply a filter to the outputted excel sheet it won't give you the information you need (probably as SIMS won't duplicate data such as emails and student names on multiple lines)..

 

Does anyone have such a report? I've got a report off sorted by tutor but I can't figure out how to add a filter for classes of a specific subject.

Caveat: Not used SIMS for a long time.

 

I believe there is an option to suppress duplicates which you need to untick, which would work. Can't remember where it is, somewhere in the report setup.

 

It might help to start the focus on the group or class and ask for user input, so you don't need to filter. Or do you want all classes shown?
