The macros on our finance forms are not supported by Excel online and are an integral part of our internal financial controls. What would be best to get around this problem?

As far as I'm aware the only way around it is to open them in Desktop Excel.

This, if you open it in teams all you gotta do it click on open in the desktop app.

I guessed that was the only option and the only limitation with Teams/Office 365

There are plenty of limitations in Office 365 compared to the full powered Office client. Word Online can chew up document formatting, Powerpoint is missing a lot of the different transition effects... It's definitely not a replacement for the Desktop Client for power users currently, though most users can use the online versions just fine.
