Opening a ADT file in SIMS

HiWe have received a adt file received from our LEA, please suggest how to open this file in SIMS and do i need a licence from capita to open it?Any help much appreciated.Thanks

That file wasn't meant for you. Please delete it. LA's use ATF for school places and 2 or 3 other files extensions to move data between co-coordinating admission LA's. You have one of these files.

According to a Capita doc from 2017

 

Schools that act as their own Admissions Authority will receive an Admissions Data Transfer (ADT)

file from the LA for import into SIMS. This file contains details of all the applicants who have

specified a preference to attend the school.

 

so it may be intended for the school. Probably best to contact the LA.
