Office 2019 Licensing

My understanding is that they would be counted under KW, as FTE is no longer used.

 

Is it allowed to give them a 365 account but no domain login so they can use email at home?

Yes Jobos, It is allowed to just set them up on the O365 portal so they can access e-mails from home via Outlook on the web. The user does not need to have an account on the Active Directory in order to access Outlook on the web.

I know it's possible but what I'm looking for is if dinner staff could have a 365 account but not have a domain logon so avoiding being counted as FTE so saving the school money.

 

I've asked our reseller the same question but get pointed to this document.

I've also asked the reseller about the new 'Knowledge Worker’ definition and was told knowledge worker is only for ESS and not OVS-ES who are still using FTE.
