So I'm a little confused...

I've seen a lot of references about Securly Filter for Chromebooks being free forever, and some references to this still being the case.

For example I've found threads on here saying it's free for Chromebooks only, but on the Securly website it says "try free".

https://www.securly.com/filter

But, i've also found a signup page that says its free forever still.

https://www.securly.com/try-free

We would only be looking at Chromebooks, and purely for filtering purposes as the current solution provided by our broadband provider is so poor with it's reporting on Chromebooks (we have nearly 900 of them)

Anyone got any idea if it is still free or not?

Did you find out if it was free for Chromebooks?

I use it free on Chromebooks and have done for the past 4 years. Great for our 1:1 device scheme and the girls taking the Chromebook home.

Not sure if new signups are available though

Well it's still on their homepage pricing page, just hidden it seems... so either they don't want you to ask about it or they're trying to hide it! :p

assets/img/chrome-icon.png Shhh...Securly for Chromebooks is now FREE!
               LEARN MORE

So when you "un-hide it" it shows:

SecurlyFree.png

But the URL goes to pricing now... So yeah, guess poke Marc for confirmation

Only for those who already have it free for Chromebooks. No new sign ups for the free tier anymore, though Securly do have a trial they seem to quite generous with!
