Firstly, I know I know we're still using Server 2008R2 - but this is in hand to get sorted... but, an issue has just came to light today.

When I try to change the expired domain administrator password on it today I get prompted with: Device attached to the system not functioning

I have been able to log in using another domain admin level account and found C:\ is now full, alongside roles giving errors - Active directory etc due to no disk space.

Any ideas how to quickly clear disk space? I tried running disk cleanup but it's not offering any success.

I'm scared to reboot it now incase it doesn't come back up at all

Thanks in advance

It seems to have settled down now - I logged on as my other administrator account which password hadn't expired and cleared up as much as I could on the C: - AD roles etc no longer showing errors and replicating ok.

Will keep the patch cleaner though in mind to clear up some more space if needed- thanks!
