Hi all

Scratching my head in this one ...

2 Windows server, not VMs, running Unifi NVR software ... no changed made or patches, all of a sudden stopped working properly today after lunch ..

Going to Live view or recordings on each of the 2 servers via chrome, often pops up with ‘unexpected server error 404’, and when going into Live view of each camera it says ‘unable to stream live view’.

Did the usual, reboot servers, cameras etc, tested on different PCs same issue (bar one PC in my office that worked flawlessly and after using a different browser to access Unifi NVR that too began to consistently fail

Recordings are ok, and logging into IP camera also works no errors ...

Testing NVR on each local server had the same intermittent errors ...

Here’s the thing ... maybe discounting a network switch issue (Unifi wireless and other browser based portals all working) I looked at Netsweeper logs for those NVR servers

I’m seeing Streaming media denied (in shared catergory) and also Java related and google related traffic being blocked too...

I suspect a change in Netsweeper recently (like today) has effected my NVRs and SSL decrypt and filter was turned on causing these issues ?

Am I barking up the right tree?

Thanks!

Nope, it's Chrome v80. Had the same thing yesterday, v79 is fine, v80 is broken. And also, and I feel dirty even typing this, the new Edgium also works fine.....

Damn that sucks .. what version of Unifi Video are you on? I’m on 3.10.6

Could be SSL related maybe ?

Wonder if one could downgrade chrome ...

That’s what we did, uninstalled 80 and reinstalled 79 and everything started working again.

And 3.10.10 on the controller

You are a life saver

Just downgraded mine and it’s sorted for now !

Followed the fix above, but still no joy. Works through Opera browser, although video a bit choppy. Also...I can't upgrade to the latest version of UniFi..fails with the error "The server responded with a status code of 400". Anyone else experiencing this?

As a temp fix, I used the Slim Jet Browser, works pretty fast...

Will get the Cert looked at half term in chrome too....

I think the server error 400 will pop up when you try to update, since it is trying to communicate with the cameras (like the Live feed)
