ricki Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Hi I have just installed the above update on my windows 19 1903 and now when I search for a program with the search next to the start button I get a blank box. Is anyone else having this problem. Thanks Richard

k-strider Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 im sure this is related but this week ive had two teachers say their start button has stoped working... i have one here in front of me and it is indeed not working... ive tried loging in as a local admin or a new clean test staff user (no profile on the computer so it has to go through windows is setting you up...) and its the same you press the start button the search box to the right of it (on the task bar) flashes and the start menu doesn't appear. both workstations are running 1903 the one in front of me has had the Jan 2020 updates on it but it doesnt really make sense cause it was installed 23-Jan and the issue started this week.

Sounds like a different issue to me, this was a server issue affecting the search.
