BrownShoes Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 Every mention of a member of staff - in any field, mentioned in any text, in any list or drop-down, even within any report or linked document...everything, everywhere... As difficult as I think?
Esteban_Child_of_the_Sun Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 (edited) I've recently done this to try and find out if a file in the document management server was referenced by name in the SIMS database (and if so where). I had to do an SQL query on a copy of the database in a test environment using this as a string point https://thesitedoctor.co.uk/blog/search-every-table-and-field-in-a-sql-server-database-updated/ This wouldn't look in side the linked documents as they are all encrypted in on the server and only Capita and paying partners can get the decryption key Edited February 4, 2020 by Esteban_Child_of_the_Sun
Esteban_Child_of_the_Sun Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 In that case you want 'Routines | Data Out | Personal Data Output' 1
BrownShoes Posted February 4, 2020 Author Posted February 4, 2020 The PDO isn't much use - we've been asked to search for every doc where the staff name is referenced...think Profiles or AM Reports where this has been tagged. Next stop C*p*t*, as you say they should have the ability to look in the documents. Thanks for the help.
