Accessing Internal Website from BYOD Network

I have got a strange problem. We have a BYOD wireless network setup with its own DNS zone of byod.internal rather than school.internal. We also have another dns zone of school.internal and school.org as we host our own school website.

 

There was an issue with the NPS server so I built a new one and got it back up and running. The old NPS server also ran the DNS server for the BYOD network. I have moved the DNS zone over to one of our other DNS servers and ensured all records were moved as well. However, since this users on the BYOD network have not been able to access the school website which is in the DNS zone school.org.

 

I cannot see any differences in the DNS zones from the old to new DNS server, all records were moved. I'm just at a bit of a loss. If I startup the old server and point DNS back to that then the school websites (hosted internally) work but pointed elsewhere the internet works apart from the internally hosted websites.

 

Has anyone got any suggestions?
