Permanent Support Staff Salary Scale £22,828 - £28,371 (Point 28 to 35) This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of the IT Services team. The College requires a Network / Systems Administrator who can manage and support IT systems within the College and enable the use of current and future technology to support students learning. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service to both staff and students. The salary range reflects our willingness to consider candidates who are either highly skilled or those that require further training to be able to fully undertake this role. The post holder will be expected to work with the Network Manager in the implementation of appropriate policies, procedures and strategy decisions relating to IT at the college. They will also be required to work closely with other departments in developing the College’s IT provision. The normal working hours would be 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Some out of hours work will be necessary e.g. for supporting events or system maintenance to minimise disruption to staff/students. You should: Have significant IT support experience preferably within an educational environment Have up to date knowledge and understanding of IT developments Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure Be pro-active with the ability to act on your own initiative The post holder may, on occasions, need to travel to other institutions with in the Multi Academy Trust.
