TornUp Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 im learning VB.net and then moving onto C#.. and i need somone i can quickly ask for advice, im not a complete N00b(not heard that word for ages!) but do need somone elses brain to pick once in a while.. anyone care to help me? lol

bizzel Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 I can help out with the C# but VB.net is something I've only ever used once or twice. I can always set up an msn account, it's no trouble with Pidgin.
altecsole Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 I wouldn't bother with VB.Net, just go straight for C#. The learning curve will be about the same and C# is probably more widely used now than VB. The languages are pretty similar so if you know C# you can probably figure out what's going on in some VB code too - they both use the Common Language Runtime. I haven't done any C# for about a year so a bit rusty. I'll help if I can though.
