We had a surprise the other week when a department decided to go for it. First we heard about it was a request for a test appointment. It didn't need much doing for it to work - they want Chrome or Firefox, Mic/Headset and optional webcam. They can't support ssl inspection if you've got that running. URLs were already allowed in Sophos.

I'll leave the discussion about the lack of notice, the department in question not listening to our advice about suitable headsets or whether we actually need it to another day...

We do at one of our Schools.

It is very expensive, this website here gives an idea

https://www.e4s.co.uk/profile/9084/mytutor.html

So up to £24 per Tutor cost price, without the company putting on a margin.

We often have multiple Students using it in School time in a lesson.

I also pointed out that according to there Policies

https://www.mytutor.co.uk/online-safety.html

"We give preference to tutors who declare their DBS/CRB status and this information is displayed on the site along with each tutor's record. We do not check CRB/DBS certificates; however parents are entitled to ask the tutor to verify this during the ‘Free Meeting’ session."

In effect I believe this breaks Safeguarding rules as they state they do not check DBS certs..
