Advice on strategy on Office 365/Google Classroom

Well, for a start they're designed to be printed and written on, so they have lines or dots to write the answer on. Still waiting for native documents that integrate well into Classroom

All my schools still use word or download word docs from the internet, even though they are logged in to Gsuite, they have the choice of either. We don't seem to have any issues using ms formats in Gdocs. The staff don't normally convert them from an ms format but just view or edit them as original format using Gdocs as the writer. I on the other hand always convert them to Google's format.

The conversion is ok, but they're generally just not setup for use with filling in online. I'm forever fixing pagination, removing all those ....s, etc etc, and that's after having to import them all manually. Someone should be selling Google Classroom aware resources already.

But those issues would be the same in any Office suite. As you say they were made for printing, not being used online. That isn't an issue with not being GSuite Classroom aware, it is an issue with being old resources. Most resources made now are natively online, rather than documents dumped in a VLE or a shared drive. So to use with Google Classroom you would link to the resource page.

But that means it doesn't link in with Classroom any more, can't mark the work. Seems like with 1000s of schools using Classroom someone would be selling to that market, wonder if there's anything from USA.
