Trying to create a school list of Android apps that would appear in the Play app store under the Work tab. When I go into device management > app management > whitelisted apps and do a search for an app I just get the same list of apps returned no matter what I'm searching for, so can't whitelist the apps we need.

Any ideas?

Are you hitting the big yellow button?

yep, it opens the next page fine, it's when I type in an app into the search box on that next page, it returns the same list of random apps.

For example, if I search for Chrome I get the following (see image)

I've found that if you go to the app page on the Google store website you can copy the extension/app ID from the URL bar and search for that. That's worked for a couple of extensions I couldn't find listed when searching by name. Edited by flyinghaggis

Ah...

Yep, i'm getting the same.

We don't use device management though, so i've never been in that area.

Yep, i'm getting the same.

Just had a message from another school who say the search is working fine for them.

Perhaps this is either a filtering issue or something up with Google servers and its just bad timing.

EDIT - I will test from home later and see if it's a filtering issue.

Now I have that bit sorted and all the school apps are in the Play Store Work tab, I have just noticed I only get that tab when viewing from a tablet, which does make sense as the whitelist is done under the devices section. I am just wondering if it's possible to get that Work tab to display on Chrome on the teachers laptops.
