FMS Migration S2008 > S2019

Afternoon all,

 

currently planning a full network migration for a school that runs FMS on their DC, which is being replcaed (S2008 w/ failing disks, not a situation anyone wants to be in).

 

They moved from SIMS to Arbor a while back so we don't need to move the SIMS database, just Arbor.

 

Has anyone done this migration as of late? Or would someone be able to point me in the right direction for the steps that I need to take? Never done anything like this before so going in completely blind.

 

Full software spec of the old server is;

 

SQLServer 2014 running on a Server 2008 standard server. We can get away with using SQL Express as there's only the FMS database to move, and there's only one person who accesses it.
