Sims Query code 6540Q showing on School workforce census

Hi All,

 

The person at our school that does the census gets this Query code 6540Q showing on School workforce census.

 

Can anyony suggest a fix. Or is there a patch from SIMS

Depends on whether this is an error or not,

 

The query suggests you have no one contracted as a Headteacher or Excecutive Headteacher at the moment. If this is correct you can provide an explanatory note on collect. If not you need HR to look over the contracts area of the head's staff record to confirm the data has been entered correctly.

We've had this error every year since I've been here (effectively since we've had SIMS) - there is absolutely nothing wrong with the contracts section that we or anybody else can see.

is there a role of head teacher in the contract? I would also check the tools>staff>pay related section in sims, and check the swc post in the leadership pay scale and make sure that it's set to headteacher

I've known some establishments deal with this query regularly as they don't technically have a Head teacher employed by the academy but instead have an executive head under contract from a MAT.

 

If you're happy everything is in order I'd just ensure you place a COLLECT note on the return stating who the head is.
