enjay Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Does anyone know where I can buy something like https://www.rapidonline.com/connectix-008-001-002-03-security-bracket-19-5510? They've been discontinued and only other place we've found them was a local hardware shop which closed recently.

The only things I've seen are bits of plastic that lock the locking tab in place. 1
synaesthesia Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Sorry, one of those "non technical" solutions would be better here; both these options invite actual damage to sockets rather than inconvenience! If someone's bored enough they'll pluck that cable out without a second thought.
jthompson Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 You could try trimming the tab on the RJ45 plug itself, just short enough that it tucks in behind the fascia of the wall plate but still long enough to lock the plug. You'd then just need the right shaped peperclip to unhook it if you needed to unplug. YMMV depending on the design of the wall module moulding.
colly72 Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Not cheap, but would these work? https://www.cablemonkey.co.uk/cat5e-network-cables/13367-cat5e-patchlock-rj45-ftp-patch-leads.html 1
