HP thin clients - mice keep breaking

Just a quick question we have a load of hp t5000 terminals. but we are finding that the optical mice that are with them seem to misfunction. the red light come on and the buttons work but the pointer doesnt move

 

anyone had the same problem or knows why? thanks

I've got about 40 t5135 and haven't had a single problem with the keyboards/mouse units supplied with them.

Yep same here - no problems to report.

have t5725s some of which came with ball mice and some optical - not had a problem with them yet (rising a year of use).
