Morning all,

Longshot, but has anyone tried to use a NAC like packetfence alongside unifi AP's to provide a unified captive portal access solution?

Ie, one SSID, and depending on who logs in, AD for staff, SQL integration for Students, it then authorises and dumps them in the right VLAN for their access?

I can see it gives basic instructions for Unifi, but it doesn't work. Unifi captive portal settings send you to the https:///guest/s...etc, but PF doesn't recognise this .

Thanks

Yes. We have multiple SSIDs and Multiple VLANS for Staff BYOD/Students BYOD/Guests. This is with Ruckus though. We had to make changes to the firewall for the DHCP addresses to be allocated.

It was a lot of work, but makes managing it all a lot easier!
