Impero Machines Showing Offline

We've had Impero for years and it has worked fine, recently we've half a room showing up, etc in lots of places but notably in It suites, our support has run out as eventually, we will go towards Senseo

 

Anyone got any ideas or experienced this before

If you ping a computer name to get its IP, then ping -a theIPyougotback, do you get the same computer name? Could be stale DNS records.

By looks of it, you're bang on the money with the stale DNS, cleared that and instantly everything has mostly come back up, thanks.

We have this issue and it is not a DNS issue. The Ping is replying with the correct IP. Impero_support are aware of our issue

The ping will always reply with the correct IP, the issue sometimes is then if you type ping -a machinesIP it then returns a different computer name. Always worth doing a ping -a xx.xx.xx.xx.
