Family Links in SIMS

I mustn't be the only person having this issue:mad:

 

for some reason, unknown to myself, or our software support providor, students who are in no way related, are being linked together in the sibiling / family link

 

They have have something similar as Surname, or parents name, but are in no way related and not only is SIMS decided they are infact related, its also making it impossible to break this link.

In SIMS family links are formed automatically when you pick a contact that has parental responsibility. SIMS relies on the flag that is put into the contact link to the student. If one or more students have the same contact that is flagged as a parent they are in that family.
