Theldron Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Hi all, We have mainly Fujitsu A557 laptops for staff, which have been working fine, but recently we are finding that 1 or 2 will not dual screen through HDMI to our Smartboards. I can plug in normal monitors and they work fine, but they will not project to the Smartboards. I have tried different HDMI cables, plugging directly into the board instead of the wall unit, I have updated the graphics drivers on the laptop. When I plug in the HDMI the laptop beeps and the screen goes off as if it is trying to show the image and when I go to the display settings it is showing that it is on duplicate and it is recognising the smartboard in the Intel Graphics Settings of the laptop. But no matter what I do it will not display on the board. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Cheers Have you tried to drive the smart board with a different resolution or refresh rate via the Intel display settings?
robyholmes Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Also, when you restart does the Smartboard (Or any second display) show the BIOS splash screen?
Theldron Posted October 2, 2019 Author Posted October 2, 2019 @robyholmes thanks posting. I have tried different resolutions and refresh rates but to no avail, also when I connect to a Smartboard I get nothing not even the BIOS shows I get no display on the Smartboard. I have just been in 4 rooms 3 have wall mounted boards 1 has a mobile board. 1 of the wall mounted boards worked out of the 3 rooms, to start with then it flickered then it died completely. The mobile device board worked fine, no problems at all.

I know our C-touch board have to be put to HDMI version 1.4 , by default its 2.0 which keeps cutting off or not displaying anything We have Smartboard 4084s I was going to check the latest software or firmware for the boards. I think it must be the boards as the laptops have no issues what so ever with monitors.
