Keyspan, ActiveBoard, Inspire

Hi

 

We've go this working in the majority of our maths rooms through trial and error, is there a definitive way to connect the following

 

We've got an old style Activ board

Serial to the Keyspan then USB to the PC

 

The pc picks up the keyspan, activmanager sees it on COM4 etc but when you click connect it just loads through, we sorted this on our other boards but I can't remember how

Hi,

Depending on the firmware on the board, you can connect via USB, it may be best to contact support they will be able to step you through all the troubleshooting steps with this board. Here is the link https://support.prometheanworld.com/contact.

We've got it connecting but it won't automatically start

The automatic start was only available in our older version of the driver, it stopped after 5.11 ActivDriver.

I've got 5.1.2.7 installed, found a bunch of older drives lying around on a random backup from years ago

If you find 5.11 you can use that and it should do the auto connect, if now let me know if the OS is 64 or 32 and I can send you a link to that driver.

Thanks, still doing the same thing, having to manually connect then it works, all our rooms with the same or similar setup seem to be fine
