Students Folder redirection folder not working

Hi All

 

today i have come across an issue when creating some new student accounts, I have created 10 new student accounts but it seems that it is not creating the folders for the desktop or documents. when checking the folder locations they are showing as C:\user\testuser3 they should be \\SERVER\$folderredirect\testuser2

 

it seem to be mapping drives and group policy seems to be working as it should be.

 

any suggestions

ADU but i have just had a look in event log and found this

 

Failed to apply policy and redirect folder "Documents" to "\\server\$folderredirect\testuser3\Documents". Redirection options=0x80001001. The following error occurred: "Can’t create the folder “\\server\$folderredirect\testuser3\Documents”". Error details: "Access is denied.".

 

so i have had a look in the root of the folder \server\$folderredirect and the permissions are missing for all the student groups
