Lenovo ix4-300d NAS Cannot Login to interface, IP issue

I cannot login to our school NAS drive, normally this only requires entering the IP address into a browser.

Last time this was used, the IP address was set to static (10.130.98.175) and all OK, however we had a new server installed recently with MS Server 2016. The old server was decommissioned and all the DHCP leases/reservations copied over to the new, which was also assigned the same IP address of the old server etc...

Trouble is, the NAS drive has lost it's lease; hence there is no way to access the interface. Here is the killer, I cannot hard-reset, which according to the manual just requires holding down the reset button on the back for 15 sec. It only does a software reset and therefore the crucial reset back to DHCP does not work. It's stuck and I have a valuable resource - that we use for the main backup - unusable ;-(

Anyone out there have any experience of these units?

Cheers

Unplug the NAS from the network, connect it directly to your machine, set your machines ip to be in the same range, then connect, log on, set to dhcp, unplug from your machine and back onto the network.

These aren’t a bad device, but IME once we switched off SMBv1 network wide I couldn’t get domain auth to work. I can still use it if I auth to it as a local user, but that makes it less useful.
