10101010 Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 (edited) anyone know how to disable the windows + x key command? tried the policy User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > File Explorer. disable all the windows shortcuts accept the windows + x key. tried the reg hack as well. ComboSmith Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Delete the contents of %SystemDrive%\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WinX or better yet change the permissions so System has full access and an IT Support group has read and execute, that way your IT Support staff can still use the menu, also stops the cursor jumping when regular users right click the start menu which is a side effect of deleting the contents of the folder. 1
