I'd like to allow one of our TA's to be able to reset the kids passwords, however he doesn't have a set PC so therefore I'd like a browser based solution. However when Googling I only seem to be able to find self service reset tools. Does anybody know of any solutions for this? Ideally it'd be free

Any help is greatly appreciated

So I have said this a few times, a mailbox with a PowerShell will do this. Now I would use flow and a mailbox/ sharepoint list. There are loads of options, if you want to buy rather than developing manage engine do something that may do the trick.

Or if they aren't as likely to be confused by it, make a cut down view of AD Users and Computers (limited to the right OU to stop them browsing about) in MMC, give them that and delegate permissions for password reset.

That would've been my preferred option, however he doesn't have a fixed pc and I don't really wanna be installing ADUC on every computer in school. Wisesoft is looking like the ideal solution

Ah yeah, didn't notice the "no fixed PC" bit :)

Obvs you will need to delegate permission in AD as well so they can change passwords but after that it's quite simple. Wisesoft has a few optinos but should work out of the box.

In the end I ended up using AD Account Reset from Cjedev as Wisesoft required .net 3.5 which wasn't I didn't really want to deploy.
