I've been "tasked" with looking at rolling out Office 2019 across the estate.

I did 2016 a few years back, but people do want the shiny shiny.

Lordy lord, but it looks a bum ache in terms of the sheer number of options that can be lumped into the XML.

I've looked at the Office config webpage, and there's about a billion options of features that sound like they need tweaked.

Does anyone have a working XML they might be willing to offer up?

I'm assuming most of the options we did for 2016 are still valid - EG things like switching off the Social network integration.

Cheers,

Gerard

Have you had a look at https://config.office.com/ to help you set up your XML ?

Thats what we used - pretty easy to use.

The extra options pretty much line up with GPO so if there was a GPO for it, you should be able to find the same option in the XML (Though we did notice one or two that weren't there, but that was picked up by GPO instead)

Thanks for getting back to me.

That's the config webpage I meant. There's a vast and bewildering array of options there.

I was hoping someone might be able to say "Oh, you definitely want to disable/enable {x}" - like the Social Integration thingy in 2016.

We've never needed the Office GPOs (IE - they're not in the ADMX store) because I customised the main installer XML on 2016, but I guess I should probably ask our Infrastructure guys to add them.
