Just had to install some software that puts a setting in the users profile. Rather than log on with each user to set the profile setting can I just copy the ntuser.man file to the other profiles, if so, what pitfalls do I have to look out for? I know I could set up a default user to cope with this but we have class profiles and we want to keep them separate.

how would you copy it to each users profile unless you did it as a logon / startup script ?

Surely if you were going to do that putting it in or replacing the all users ntuser.man would be easier ?

not even sure if that ntuser.man would work but just thought id throw my £0.02 in

NTUSER.MAN suggests that your are using mandatory profiles. I am not familiar with your setup but I would suggest copying the profile up to a server share and updating your user accounts in AD accordingly (ie change the profile path for user properties). That way if you have any changes in the future you will have one place to make the changes for all your users
