365 Shared Calendar – all day events showing a two days

We use office 365. I have setup a shared mailbox so the calendar can easily be shared. The time zone is set to UK, London

 

The admin of the calendar is using the full outlook client and can see the shared calendar. The time zone on the PC with the Outlook client is set to UK.

 

When the admin imports the year’s calendar events from a csv it all seems to work correctly. All the imported events display correctly including ‘All Day’ events.

 

But…

 

When the calendar is viewed in outlook web the ‘All day’ events display as two days.

We have repeated this serval times, in serval newly created shared mailbox calendars.

 

 

Anyone else come across this?

I'll ask the obvious one here, but I assume whoever is viewing it on outlook web has the right timezone set?

 

By design if the user viewing the calendar has a different timezone it'll shift the events to show "their" version as such

Yep defo matching timezones,

Tried creating a standard mail box and doing the import, same result is all day events show as 2 days

You got an example line of your CSV file you're importing it from? Will have a play

I have attached a sample. (had to change the file extension to TXT so I could upload it. It was a csv file)

Doesn't seem to be any issue with the import as working fine on two accounts here, imported via latest outlook, and both viewed online:

 

 

You got an example test calendar you can share a link to? (As in so I could load it up and see how it looks)

 

Edit - I assume you are using latest Outlook rather than 2010 etc? From your comment about 365 calendar?

Using Outlook 2016 desktop client.

 

Just tried again. My view attached, desktop client of left of image, web version is right. Also attached the timezone form the webversion

 

 

Also some success. On the client i saved the calendar as an ICS file then went the web calendar and imported the ics. this seemed to do the trick

Very strange, and your PC is deffo on the same timezone? You don't have something silly like daylight turned off etc? or just standard UTC?

 

If it's working via the web it must be something local to your pc
