Lordswood Boys' School is looking for a Data Technician.

 

Your main job will be to ensure that the our educational data is good - not just the systems that manage the data.

 

It means that you will be;

1) implementing robust backup & recovery techniques on centralised and distributed systems in a Microsoft XP environment.

2) the lead developer within our new Sharepoint 2007 site.

3) jointly responsible for the extraction and analysis of educational data.

4) Occasionally doing a little bit of network support in a windows XP network.

 

Attitude is more important than technical ability as training will be given.

So if you want to become an expert in CMIS, Microsoft Excell and Microsoft Sharepoint 2007 and know/want to know how networks are supported, then this is the job for you.

What sort of money are we looking at here?

I would expect to pay something around £14K - £17K for someone who had lots of potential and/or some experience in some of the above areas.
