james141 Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Hi, at the moment in our church, we have two monitors at the back and a screen and projector at the front. The output to the second screen is displayed on the projector via a CAT5 VGA extender. This is basically sending the VGA over the CAT5 because of the long distance. We now want to put a splitter at the projector end so that we can have some more monitors at the front - the same as whats on the screen. I have heard that there are some units that will have a CAT5 input and 4 VGA outputs but I can't find any anywhere. The other option is to have the VGA reciever there and then a seperate splitter. Does anyone know where I can find a CAT5 input and 4 VGA output unit? thanks!! James.
james141 Posted May 14, 2008 Author Posted May 14, 2008 Well, I was told by somoene that it would be better to have it all in one unit but I can't find anything like it anywhere. James.

james141 Posted May 14, 2008 Author Posted May 14, 2008 Hi, yeah I found these as well but what im looking for is a reciever unit that has 1 CAT5 input and 4 VGA ouputs. So there is one sender with 1 VGA input and one reviever with 4 VGA outputs. Looks like I'l just have to have a seperate splitter. thanks, James.
