BJG Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 We have a lecture theatre with a large screen made up of four 60" displays packed together, separated by a chunky silver divider. I've been asked to look into updating this and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about outsized displays like this; the largest single screens available, or smaller ones that fit together seamlessly. (Non-touch.)
Grey-gear Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 (edited) Not sure if this would work for you but could you not just have the wall you project on to painted white? It would be a cheap option unless it needs to be a movable one (sorry if this doesn't help) Edited July 19, 2019 by Grey-gear 1

bald_pig Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 A few places have near-seamless display walls now: https://www.lg.com/uk/business/information-display/digital-signage/video-wall 1
localzuk Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Sharp now make 120" screens - 120 inch Professional Screen Display | Commercial Grade | Sharp PN-H120 4K UHD But as it is built to order... You'll be paying rather a lot for it. Else, the largest normal ones are 98" at the moment, for about £10k. You could get a newer video wall put in - but you're best talking to an AV firm for that. 1
SamanthaD Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 LED video walls are coming along in terms of resolution and price, but I wouldn't say it would be cost effective for a 120" display. Sharp PN-V602A looks good (never used it so be don't take it as a recommendation), but would be a good like for like replacement.
