TMBS Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 Hi We're in the process of renewing our Broadband and VOIP. Hopefully by using the same supplier for both it will iron out some of the issues we currently have. Has anyone used Atomwides solution through LGfL? My School Phones through Schools Broadband? Thanks
willtech Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 Yeah we have used it for some of our sites. They assign a separate port on the firewall for the VOIP Phones. It is based on a Cisco System. Works with no problem at all. Have you seen their brochure on the system. Here it is: https://www.atomwide.com/downloads/VoIP-Brochure-2017.pdf#zoom=70 1
SchoolsBroadband Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Hi @TMBS, from recollection we should be quite a bit more competitive than Atomwide on pricing. Ours works similarly. We recommend doing a separate VLAN on your network so we can easily segregate the traffic back to our core. This allows us to do end to end quality of service. We normally sell Yealink as they're very price competitive but if you wanted Cisco handsets we can do that too there just a little more expensive. We've thousands of handsets out there and quite a few customers on here that use it. Thanks Dave 1
