[sims] Report Error, Could not open Macro Storage

Hi all,

 

i got an odd one here.

 

A user is having problems running some reports from sims.

 

We are getting an error asking about macro storage.

 

I have checked trust center and that looks fine for me. Is there any option that i need to be ticked? I used to have notes about Sims and Office which had things that needed to be ticked/unticked but i cant find it. (and it was for old office 2010)

 

 

Windows 10 Edu/Office 2016

(Redirected Docs/Desktop etc... only thing not being redirected is AppData)

Check if you have made the tempsimsrpt folder in Documents a trusted location?

I think this is to do with the File block settings in the trust centre. This can be changed on the workstation or at GPO level. Look for the setting for Word 97 Binary Documents and ensure it's not set to being opened in protected view.
