toffee_paul Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Hi all, Anyone else having issues with their 1903 deployments not restarting as the finish action? Only thing changed of my TS is the O/S, no rule changes.
toffee_paul Posted July 4, 2019 Author Posted July 4, 2019 There's definitely an issue with the 1903 and the MDT action to restart the device when finished. Just tested again on 1809 and when the O/S is deployed is goes straight to the logon screen ready to be used. With 1903 it still shows the 'Administrator' account that's defined in MDT rules and shows other users button in bottom left. 1903 doesn't seem to apply some group policies that reside in here ... Computer Config > Policies > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options. Thinks like Interactive logon: Don't display last signed in are 'Not Configured' when normally here we set to 'Enabled'. ADK and WinPE add-on v1903 are both installed so surely this is a bug.
toffee_paul Posted July 4, 2019 Author Posted July 4, 2019 REBOOT and RESTART do the same thing. A manual reboot doesn't help matters either as it still doesn't go to the normal logon screen. It's remembering the local 'Administrator' account and not applying the GP settings mentioned above.
victory2015 Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 i have a task sequence at the end which runs gpupdate.exe you may need add that to force the gpo updates?
