Many Thanks for the Info

Do I need to worry about the following ‘Enable content cache discovery across multiple public IP addresses on Mac’ ?

We have a very simple network with a static external IP address. Thanks

I've setup caching server on a Mac Mini but with Mosyle, not that it matters because it doesn't require an MDM.

Long story short, When it's turned on it will cache any app store, ios updates content etc that the Mac is on the network of. We have several VLANs that has apple specific traffic so ours is setup like this:

1 NIC, with the unfiltered VLAN being at the top of the network list in system preferences, and the 3 other vlans it's required on below it (Staff Wifi VLAN, Student Wifi VLAN, and the VLAN our mac suite is on).

It will the cache any content on those 4 vlans, i set it up this time last year and has worked flawlessly all year. All i had to do with add the VLANs to the Mac and tick the sharing option for content caching (i added a 2TB external drive to store the cache also)

@Brimstone would know the answer.

My school has always had multiple public IPs so I have always had an _aaplcache record in DNS.
