AntiVirus on Failover Cluster Hosts ??

Morning all

 

After a bit of input from those of you running Hyper-V Failover Clusters and using Sophos Central.

 

I'm currently migrating from on-prem Sophos Antivirus using Enterprise Console to Sophos Central. End clients have all migrated to Sophos Central fine and I'm part way through migrating VMs which are also ok.

 

However, installing the Sophos Central server endpoint on my failover cluster hosts is causing terrible performance issues. With the endpoint installed on a host, users are facing very long login times and generally poor performance. So it would seem that the endpoint on the host is affecting the performance of VMs residing on that host, despite all the correct exclusions being in place.

 

Are any of you running Sophos Central Endpoint on Hyper-V Failover Cluster hosts? If so, have you had similar issues? If not, would you mind sharing the policy you have configured on these servers in Sophos Central?
