Zourous Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 Or do it on the default user if you use local profiles. The start menu shortcuts are in the appdata folder.
meldistrict12 Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 I'm currently in the process of creating an image using 1809 - currently using AppLocker to disable the links. I created an Executable Rule - to deny access for my student group to open any software that is held in this path... \ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools\ It doesn't get rid of them from the Start Menu, but it does stop them accessing it. Hoping this will stop them from tinkering. I did test out the remove all programs policy last night, so seeing what I can do with that today - would prefer the students to only see what they need to. They do not have access to the C: Drive.
