User Configuration, Administrative Templates, and Start Menu and Taskbar

Remove common program groups from Start Menu

That's the option you need to find in your GPO. :)

I'm currently in the process of creating an image using 1809 - currently using AppLocker to disable the links.

I created an Executable Rule - to deny access for my student group to open any software that is held in this path... \ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools\

It doesn't get rid of them from the Start Menu, but it does stop them accessing it. Hoping this will stop them from tinkering.

I did test out the remove all programs policy last night, so seeing what I can do with that today - would prefer the students to only see what they need to. They do not have access to the C: Drive.
