[ms office - o365] Amending calendar times of appointment you're invited to

Afternoon all

 

We've recently had a member of staff say that there are unable to alter the timings of a calendar entry that they are invited to.

 

It was mine and my colleagues understanding that this was never an option in Outlook (certainly if you are not the creator of the calendar entry) and that you can only propose a new time - not amend.

 

I've recently found that you can click and drag appointments created by others in your calendar, doing so will affect just your copy. However they are adamant that there was an option, similar to how a new entry is made?

 

 

Has anyone ever done this before? Was it a feature in an older version of Outlook?

If your not the owner of that calendar item then as you have noted you are only moving it in your personal calendar. I think if you have some delegate permission on the originators mailbox you would be able to update/ change the time on the calendar item....
