Morning all,

We are trying to restore macbooks via a time machine backup.

This completes successful although we no longer have the startup recovery option.

When we hold down command & R and wait for the chime we get Internet Recovery and not the startup recovery with Disk Utility and terminal ect.

We are installing 10.4.5

Any help or tips would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks!

Sounds like you've lost the local recovery partition, so all it will do is head to Internet Recovery by default. Can you post the output of diskutil list run from terminal?

Also...

We are installing 10.4.5

...is that a typo and should say 10.14.5, or are you _actually_ installing OSX Tiger?
