MarcAlle Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 I just installed Skeep and I'm getting this error when trying to deploy: TIME/DATE - COMPUTERNAME - computer is unreachable Any help would be greatly appreciated!
FatBoy Posted July 15, 2013 Author Posted July 15, 2013 Not seen this one before I don't think but normally if the computer is unreachable its got something to do with either the firewall/permissions/wrong ip of the machine or something. Is the time/date synced across the network? Can you access the C$ share on the machine and make changes?

MarcAlle Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Nope...my bad, I typed the computer name wrong. It is working and I can browse the c$. I can create files, delete files and folders, etc.
MarcAlle Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 To clarify, I can view the c$ folder, but I still get the error message. I click deploy VNC and a CMD box pops up (says its ping.exe), nothing shows up. The box goes away and then I get the error.

FatBoy Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 Can you right click the client and successfully ping it? And is the IP Address column filled in with the correct IP? Just seems like the console isn't contacting the machine correctly

FatBoy Posted May 19, 2025 Author Posted May 19, 2025 WOW blast from the past! Didn't think anyone would be even trying to use this anymore it was created a long long time ago. (See last post 2013) I can't really help much as I don't have it installed anymore and haven't used it for a long time. But I would say the script is looking for the FQDN and maybe its not finding the domain name, maybe something to do with DNS?
