Cluster Server multiple sites

I work for a MAT which consists of 5 schools. As staff move round the MAT we are thinking of moving to one server - eg remove all servers and replace with one big server. At present we have a vpn which is fine for the finance staff to connect to other sites but this is only FTTC 40mb-80mb. Should we have p2p connections from all sites to main site and then internet connection from main site?

 

Also all sites do have ruckus but they all have ZD’s (some quite old) is there a way to mange the wireless from one site eg link the ZD’s or would it be best to also replace?
